Victoria Police has dedicated Family Violence Units that can assist individuals in immediate danger. They offer intervention orders, safety planning, and referral to support services.

The Orange Door is the central Intake and access point for adults, children, and young people experiencing family violence  They will coordinate referral to the appropriate services for support, including housing support, child protection, and family violence services.

Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre

Safe Steps provides 24/7 crisis support and emergency accommodation for women and children experiencing family violence. Their helpline offers immediate safety planning and assistance, and they can connect individuals with local services for long-term support.

Victims Support Agency (VSA)
