Kyneton

Kyneton Street Band

A community band featuring marimbas, brass and percussion that brings fun and a funky repertoire to the Macedon Ranges & District area. Membership is open to people of all ages, and the selection of music played and the marimbas in particular, make the band accessible to musicians of limited experience, as well as seasoned professionals and amateurs. 

Rehearsals at Uniting Church Hall Kyneton 

Tuesdays 5:30- 6:30pm. 

Membership: $60 per family includes 2 adults, one child, $10 each extra child. $30 individual adult (over 18 yrs). $10 individual child (18 yrs & under). Rehearsal fees: $10 per adult & $5 per child.

The M&MMCH Choir (the “House Choir”) is aimed at adults of all ages, genders and abilities , with the idea to have a great deal of fun and enjoy a bit of community spirit! No previous choir experience is needed, just an enthusiastic willingness to join in singing, contribute and learn. 

 The choir commences on Thursday 8th February at 7.30pm.  Please come and join us - everyone is welcome!

The Mount Players

The Mount Players are run by volunteers, there are plenty of ways to be involved: Help build and paint the set, Assist the Costume Team in sourcing or sewing costumes, Join the Orchestra/Band, Help the with sound and lighting in the Bio box, Help backstage with props, Join the Front of House Team, Join the Production Team - help produce a show!


There is an option to pay a membership fee to support the theatre $30.00 per year and an additional $10.00 per person for family members at the same address.

The Macedon Ranges Scottish Country Dancing Group meet every Thursday afternoon 1 – 3pm at Buffalo Stadium, Woodend.

Our dancing involves social country dancing, not the highland dancing many people think of. No special clothes needed, just soft flat shoes.
